I often refer to my art as and adventure or a journey. Everyday is different with new twists and turns as I grow and expand both my art and my business. Like the children walking amongst the tall pines in the painting above I have known that my art journey is not a solo event. There are many of you who have contributed so much to help me get to where I am today. On this Thanksgiving weekend I give thanks for all of you, for your comments, insights, inquires, likes on FaceBook, commissions, teaching opportunities, prayers and sales. Without your continual support I would not be a self employed artist today. Thank you!
For the month of December I am hosting several give aways. The first one is featuring one of my 2013 Christmas Angels. I would love for more people to know about my work so I am hoping to increase the number of Likes on my Facebook Fan Page. My goal is to get to 300 likes by the end of December and I need your help. To have your name in the drawing for the angel ornament just go to my page, Urban Pastures Art-Maureen L. White and click the Like button. If you are have already clicked the like button just post a comment stating who your favorite non-living artist is. If you do both then your name is in the drawing twice. You can also leave more than one post to get your name in multiple times. The drawing will be Tuesday evening, December 3.
Oh and if you already have a 2013 angel ornament entry anyway and if your name is drawn I will surprise you with another original piece of art!
