On a spring walk my journey took me past this majestic bronze sculpture, Symbol of The Pros by Bob Scriver. My eyes were drawn to the drama of the piece as well as the juxtaposition of the light and dark as the suns rays fell across the rider and the horse. This prominent piece of art is outside the Montana Historical Society on the grounds of the state capital. Helena has many wonderful public art pieces that add both beauty and historical interest to our city.

Spring Blooms and Garden of Joy are the newest paintings in my  flower series. I love painting these small works and adding a little color to my life.
