Paintings Bound for Brazil and China.

Jenn

From left to right, Jade, Jenn, and Ana

This past week I finished  2 paintings that were commissioned by Jenn Groff of Jersey City, NJ. Jenn wanted to give some very special art work to 2 international students who have been attending Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken ,NJ. They have completed their studies and are now heading back to their home countries. Ana is from Brazil and Jade is from China.  Jenn got to know Ana and Jade at her church in Hoboken and the three of them have become close friends over the past few years. Jenn  gave me several ideas of images that might be meaningful to Ana and Jade, The NY skyline, the gray house where Ana and Jade lived in Jersey city, the Edwin A. Stevens Hall on the Stevens campus and Psalm 23, The Lord is my Shepherd.

As an artist it was pure delight to create these paintings for Ana and Jade. I am honored that my work will travel to distant lands as well as bringing Ana and Jade fond memories of their special time here in the United States. Thank You Jenn and all my best to Ana and Jade as they take their American experience and education back home to flourish.
