This wood cut out was commissioned by a good friend who lives in Houston Texas. The house belonged to my friends son and daughter in law. They recently sold the house in order to move to a new job and home in California.It was their going away present.
I had a lot of fun painting this because it is definitely a home with charm and character. I love how it is nestled in between those tall Texas pines which help to frame the entire piece. The porch is a real charmer and I can tell it has welcomed many visitors.
