Summer is well under way and I have had a lot of fun making paper mache birds. I recently found a recipe for paper clay which  makes the process of sculpting so much easier and the forms are stronger.  Having a new medium to work with has brought me new inspiration and enjoyment. I love seeing how the birds take on a personality all their own. Below is the newest bird, Her Royal Highness. Not only does she love showing off her jewels she has attitude and rules her chicken coop with style. She is now up for auction and if you would like her to grace your home or give as a gift just click the link below her photo.

Her Royal Highness

Now meet Blue Rudy. He is a poet and a jazz musician who just happens to be a barnyard rooster.

Not only is he artistic but he has a way with the ladies. The hens in the coop flock after Rudy as he recites his melodious verses.
Rudy is also up for auction this week.
