Northern Ice

When is enough enough?

I’m sure the answer to that is as varied as there are people in the world. I would imagine the answer also depends on your frame of mind, the subject and your outlook at any given moment.
Ice and snow seem to be abundant in this part of Montana right now. We certainly have had enough from my perspective. However I have come to grips with the fact it is here to stay for at least 4 to 6 more weeks. As an artist I try to take advantage of abundance and incorporate into my paintings. Northern Ice is one such painting that was inspired by a winter storm . There certainly is a time for every season under heaven and no matter how long the season it is ours to enjoy and to accept.
