I am often amazed at my own blindness. Two days after moving into my new apartment I was gazing out the kitchen window and saw a mother robin sitting in her nest. She was hidden from me for several days and I am sure she saw me the first time I stood in front of that window. I am delighted by this unexpected visitor, who I now call Ms. Robbie and I can’t wait for her chicks to hatch which may be any day now.
