I have been so busy making angels for the 2013 Christmas Season that I have forgotten to blog and keep you posted on my art. The angel above was created a few years ago and when I look at it hanging on my wall I am always reminded  to be at peace when I get into an art making frenzy.

Below are some photos of the copper I am using for the 2013 angel wings. The copper is a heavy 24 gauge copper and I bought 2, 24″ x 36″ sheets that will yield over a hundred wings and 40 angels. Once the copper has been sanded, cut and placed in a patina bath they will be  ready to attach to the wooden angel bodies.
