The Kingdom of God is among us.
One does not have to look hard to see God’s Kingdom in action. This was and always has been true at the Church of the Redeemer in Houston TX. Over the past 40 years this unique church has made God’s presence a tangible reality for those in her parish, her neighborhood and the world at large. One February 28, 2011 the church held it’s last Sunday service. People from far and wide came to worship one more time in this beloved sanctuary. The building is no longer structurally sound so she needs to be taken down.
I spent 10 years of my early adult life worshiping and serving in this unique Christian community. It was a beautiful home, one I will always cherish. To mark the passing of this beloved place I made one of my wood cutout paintings. If you would like to own one of these unique keepsakes of the church please email me at [email protected]. The piece measures 12 inches high x 22 inches long. It is cut out of birch plywood, painted in acrylics and comes ready to hang. Cost is 275.00
