Abstract # 3 is now finished. This original acrylic painting reminds me so much of the vibrant colors that are always on display by Mother Nature in Yellowstone Park. Montana is full of a wide variety of natural wonders in her mountain regions. If you have ever been to Yellowstone you know the brilliant aquas, oranges and reds that dominate much of her landscape.
The frame on this one is especially weathered and cracked. It looks as if it was naturally formed by the minerals and sulphur deposits found in Yellowstone’s geyser basin.
