Do you live with an Angel?

Summer and fall have been full of activity here at Urban Pastures Art. I have been extremely busy helping my mom. who lives with me and who will turn 90 next month. She is my biggest fan and art critique. I love her honesty about art and what she likes or dislikes. Believe me when I say her keen artistic eye has kept me from making some rather ugly color and composition choices. For sure she is my Guardian Angel as well as mom.

I have also received a wide variety of  art commissions from wedding trays, crosses, flying wind birds, paper clay figures to colorful abstract paintings. Before I knew it was September and I still hadn’t designed this years Christmas angel ornaments. Now that it is the middle of November and just about 40 days until Christmas  I am happy to say all 200 angels are finally finished and posted for sale on my website. I feel I need to take a breather but the holidays are coming and already I have a few more special orders to fill before the end of the year. For sure these past months have felt like a whirlwind but they have been good ones as I share my home with my mom and create art that brings both joy and meaning to so many people.
