The angels are here and ready to fly for the holidays. Many of you have asked me when the 2011 edition would be ready for purchase and I am happy to report that they are now up for sale. I have finished several sets and will be making more in the next few weeks. There are 4 different styles Joy, Glory, Peace/Tall and Peace/Short.
These angels are made of a unique mixed media collection of copper, wood, paint, and paper. The wings and bodies have been cut from two different pieces of wood and then glued together to give the ornament a three dimensional quality. The halos, wings and banners have been made of copper which have been treated with a green patina. The Joy angel has a layer of paper collage under the painting with the words Joy To The World.
I only make about 150 of these each year. Many people collect them or give them as holiday gifts to family and friends. So purchase early and please if you have any question you can email me at [email protected]
