I took a small step away from some abstract elements to create this painting. While the tree is more realistic in structure the background has some elements of an abstract painting with it’s rust and cream background, blue mountains and aqua ground. I enjoy making common elements that we all recognize like water, sky, earth and vegetation and change their color scheme. This tends to keep the viewer on their toes and has the potential to refresh their outlook of the world in which they live.
This small antique frame is very old yet still in good shape. It has very ornate decretive elements that make it a delicate charmer.
