Purple Mountain Majesty
This is the second painting in my mountain series. I love the layers of texture and paint in this piece and I am very pleased with how it turned out. Look closely and you will see the small hints of red, orange and aqua peeking through the top layer.
I found the wooden frame in a second hand store here in Helena. It is made of solid wood and the surface has a wonderful three dimensional quality. You don’t see frames like this very often anymore.
